WEST SIDE EVENTS & LIVE MUSIC šŸ²ā›°ļøā˜•ļø

Itā€™s your last weekend to see Hadestown at Faith Conservatory. The final show is on Sunday at 4 pm. Thatā€™s right, these kids are so confident, theyā€™re competing with the Super Bowl, yo.

If youā€™d rather get outside this weekend, thereā€™s a super cool thing (at least, I think itā€™s super cool) at Red Rock tomorrow. Itā€™s called ā€œObserve, Paint, Pass,ā€ and, basically, you look out at the awesome beauty, start painting, and then, after a while, you switch canvases, so everybodyā€™s painting a little bit of each picture. Better yet, itā€™s at the Red Rock Overlook outside the Scenic Loop, which makes it oh so free to attend. Right now, there are still 6 spots left for tomorrow, but, if thatā€™s too little notice for you, thereā€™s another one coming up on February 22nd.

Plus, Lunar New Year isnā€™t over quite yet, Rouge Room has a new late-night party, and, as far as music goes, Street Corner Renaissance (at a couple different libraries the weekend) sounds utterly choice.

I wouldnā€™t recommend actually waiting in the line to get your pic taken with this iteration of the sign, because Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ve ever seen that line shorter than like 2 billion people, but you could always pull into the parking lot and take a gander. Maybe even a picture. Youā€™ll just have to crop all those randos out of it.
