WEST SIDE EVENTS & LIVE MUSIC š²ā°ļøāļø
Itās your last weekend to see Hadestown at Faith Conservatory. The final show is on Sunday at 4 pm. Thatās right, these kids are so confident, theyāre competing with the Super Bowl, yo.
If youād rather get outside this weekend, thereās a super cool thing (at least, I think itās super cool) at Red Rock tomorrow. Itās called āObserve, Paint, Pass,ā and, basically, you look out at the awesome beauty, start painting, and then, after a while, you switch canvases, so everybodyās painting a little bit of each picture. Better yet, itās at the Red Rock Overlook outside the Scenic Loop, which makes it oh so free to attend. Right now, there are still 6 spots left for tomorrow, but, if thatās too little notice for you, thereās another one coming up on February 22nd.
Plus, Lunar New Year isnāt over quite yet, Rouge Room has a new late-night party, and, as far as music goes, Street Corner Renaissance (at a couple different libraries the weekend) sounds utterly choice.

AROUND THE VALLEY šØš
Here are some things Around the Valley we think might be of interest -
Thar She Blows šØ
I know, I know, wind is hardly news here. But if youāre wondering how long itās gonna last this time, the answer is only through tonight. Or so predict our forecasters.
And those gusts that youāre hearing/feel like they wanna blow you over? Those are coming in at about 55 mph.
LV Honors Black History Month š
If you want to see the āWelcome to Las Vegasā sign a little differently, itās been lit up fancy in honor of Black History Month.
It looks super pretty and festive!
I wouldnāt recommend actually waiting in the line to get your pic taken with this iteration of the sign, because Iām not sure Iāve ever seen that line shorter than like 2 billion people, but you could always pull into the parking lot and take a gander. Maybe even a picture. Youāll just have to crop all those randos out of it.
