TODAY’S WIND DOWN BROUGHT TO YOU WITH
Happy Friday Afternoon, Neighbor!
We’ve got an extra long edition today so you can plan a fun-filled weekend.
While it’s rainy and cold as I write this, the weekend is shaping up to be sunny and nice. Enjoy it while you can, because the 100+ degree days will be here before we know it 🥵
Also, it’s National Pretzel Day (a holiday truly worth celebrating) and Wetzel’s Pretzels is giving out FREE ORIGINAL PRETZELS starting at 3 pm. So, if you’re anywhere near Downtown Summerlin tonight, grab yourself some yeasty goodness.

Get Lost In …
Staying in this weekend, and want to spend your time vegging out in front of the TV or with a good book? Or 12? We got you.
It’s fantasy/sci-fi escape weekend.
First up, if you want to get lost in the Wizarding World, PeacockTV currently has all of the extended editions of the Harry Potter movies available for streaming.
For Dune fans who’ve finished the movies, but crave more, the Clark County Library has a list of 12 books to read after watching the Dune movies.
👉 This book series is written by one of our editors! The ebooks are also available via our beloved Clark County Library system.
THIS WEEKEND’S COOL RESTAURANT STUFF 🧙♀️
Looking for something a bit new and different to add to your restaurant repertoire? There are some pretty cool theme events at restaurants (and temporary restaurants) this weekend.
If you do decide to binge the extended editions of the Harry Potter movies, you might want to finish it up with the Harry Potter Great Feast at Ada’s Food + Wine on Sunday. (That’s where we’ll be!)
Meanwhile, in Downtown Summerlin the same day, the Chop Shop Park City PopUp brings its “Gencarelli” sandwich and “Bee’s Knees” cocktail combo to Paige & Rye.

Even if you’re not into rum, this place has a lot worth seeing and is absolutely worth a visit. Get there if you can. There are still some Nevada Resident discount tickets available for Sunday night.
Also Beyond Summerlin, the Nellis Spring Carnival is tonight (if the weather doesn’t intervene) at Nellis AFB and the Water Lantern Festival is tomorrow at Craig Ranch Regional Park.
