Valentine’s on a budget anyone?

Good luck with that. Most restaurants are doing prix fixes that, let’s just say, aren’t real budget-friendly. Which is cool. There’s something to be said for a fancy-schmancy romance meal. And you can get one at these places that still have reservations available at relatively abnormal dinner times (we’re talking 3:30, 4, 9, or even 10 pm), but… you know… at least it’s dinner (kind of).

(And, before you ask… no, they don’t have any normal dinner time reservations left either).

Or, take your beloved to IKEA, where they’re serving up a buy one entrée, get a second entrée for 50% off for IKEA Family members. If you’ve got the guts to try to get away with that. Or if your partner is, like, VERY Swedish.

And if you wanna score some meal deals while watching hockey tomorrow, the Tenaya location of Aces & Ales is where to go. They do this for all the Golden Knights games, too.

BEYOND THE WEST SIDE EVENTS & MUSIC 🩰🚘💘

It’s a booming weekend around the Valley, y’all. There is a LOT going on. And the variety of events should be enough to satisfy just about any recreational itch.

First up, there are still free tickets left for the Valentine’s Singles Party at the Blue Martini at Town Square tonight. If you slept on the FU Valentine’s Day Party at The Nerd, though, you’re too late. Those free tix are gone. Apparently, a lot of people wanted to say FU to Valentine’s Day 😝

Beyond that, the Dream Asia Food Fest kicked off today at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (and runs through Sunday), the Las Vegas Numismatic Society Coin Show also runs through the weekend, there’s a Black History Month Festival tomorrow at Springs Preserve, the Lunar New Year Asian Night Market is tomorrow and Sunday at the M Resort, and the Dam Short Film Festival is still rolling in Boulder City… you know, if you’re looking for something to do.
