Hope you like sliders. Because today’s Happy Hours are all about them. We’re pitting chain against local (not really, we like both!) and talking tiny sandwiches. We’re also talking about two places where you can get a shocking amount of food for very little coin at Happy Hour.

First up, BJ’s Brewhouse’s Happy Hour serves up full-sized apps at super low prices at Happy Hour. You know how a lot of places serve you up like two sliders instead of four at Happy Hour, so you’re not really getting a deal, you’re just getting less food? Well, that’s not the case here. The four-slider appetizer is still four sliders at Happy Hour (but at less than ½ the price) and the mini deep-dish pizza is still a mini deep-dish pizza. Also, the avocado egg rolls sound weird, but are actually super delicious.

Next up, Honey Salt’s Happy Hour serves up good-sized beef or chicken sliders complete with house-made chips. If you’re not a big eater, it’s practically a whole meal. Though, if you go to Honey Salt and skip the fried pickles, you’re really missing out, so I don’t recommend it.

TODAY’S RESTAURANT THEME NIGHTS & SPECIALS 🍷

Fancy a fancy Tuesday dinner? If so, you’ve got a couple of options tonight.

If you’re feeling cinematically Italian (which is an incredibly specific way to feel, I admit) and like wine, you might want to check out the Director’s Cut Dinner at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. It’s a four-course prix-fixe with “cinema-inspired” wine pairings for $80.

Meanwhile over at Fleming’s, it’s Tomahawk Tuesday - though it could be called Two-fer Tuesday - where you can get two salads, two sides, two desserts, and one shareable steak entrée for $140. Which may sound like, “Seriously, one entrée for $140?” But when they say shareable, they’re talking over 30 oz of steak, including one that is only served in this prix-fixe, so if steak revs your engine, you can probably get some real takeoff with this baby.
