If it’s a haircut you need, you might be interested in the new Strange Times location in Summerlin (9765 W Charleston Blvd). 💈 The barbershop just opened last week, and has operating hours from Tuesday-Saturday.

In more future news, if you love Broadway and you’re looking for something to do Beyond Summerlin at the end of the month, check out From Broadway With Love. 🎤 It’s at Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center and tickets are free, but it’s a benefit, so you’ll probably want to give a little something on your way out the door. (You’ll also probably want to secure your tickets before they’re gone.)

If it’s golf you love, the Shriners Children’s Open is looking for volunteers for October (the tournament is October 14-20). ⛳ The Open takes place right here in Summerlin, and volunteering comes with some pretty cool perks!

Before Louisa May Alcott penned the classic Little Women, she was a nurse.

She served during the Civil War, tending to the wounded at the Union Hospital, but contracted typhoid fever and was forced to return home.
