It’s Monday, and it’s more than a bit paltry. There’s really nothing to report. But are you familiar with your local library? We’ve lived in several cities, so I have a pretty good frame of reference, and I will state whole-heartedly that the Las Vegas library system is really something special.

Sahara West Library has three - count them, THREE - small galleries that showcase local and regional art, and we have seen some truly impressive stuff in there.

So, whenever you find yourself with a lazy evening, remember you’ve probably got a library nearby with something worth seeing, and on weeknights branches are open until 8pm!
