TODAY’S HAPPY HOURS

In Today’s Happy Hours, we’re featuring La Strega Trattoria’s Witching Hour in Summerlin South again.🍹 We went to it yesterday, so we’ve updated our listing with more pictures and the things we learned (and loved!).

One thing we learned when we got our bill was that the food items rang up cheaper than the prices on the menu. The $6 Focaccia Bites (which was actually just one big bite) rang up $5 and the $18 Butcher Board rang up $15. No explanation, but, hey, we’re not gonna complain.

See pictures on our website or Instagram. Spoiler alert: good drinks and high quality food.

OTHER NOTABLE HAPPY HOURS TONIGHT

Did You Know?

George Washington was a whiskey man.

That’s right, after serving as the nation's founding father and head honcho, he traded his presidential hat for a distiller's cap and went on to establish one of the most booming whiskey operations in the newly minted United States.

Nestled right next to his famed residence in Mount Vernon, this Virginia venture was all the rage until 1814, when it went up in smoke - quite literally. So, while he couldn't tell a lie, George sure could distill a mean spirit, until fate decided to toast his enterprise with a fiery finish!

👉 This book series is written by one of our editors! And the ebooks are also available via our beloved Clark County Library system.

TODAY’S RESTAURANT SPECIALS 🍔

Fancy a burger, or feeling some air hockey or rubber axe-throwing this evening? Today’s restaurant specials include the $7 burger special at Al’s Garage and ½ price games at Dave & Buster’s.

Both specials run all day, so if you’re strategic at Al’s Garage and hit it up during Happy Hour from 3-6, you can get a heck of deal on a burger and beer (or wine or a well drink!).
