Also, are you ready for some serious construction. I know I’m not! But, well, it’s comin’. A whole big bundle of stuff is being done to the interchange of I-215 and Summerlin Parkway. 🚧 Which is kind of funny. Because, honestly, when has that interchange ever actually been completed? I mean, it’s an interchange on one side and a giant dirt pit on the other.
But, anyway, now it’s gonna be a construction zone too. And construction may start as early as this year. Woohoo! Who’s excited?
Shiver me timbers. Time to hit the grog.

There are more trees on Earth than there are stars in our galaxy.
How bonkers is that?
We often think of the night sky as endless. With all those starry nights and the infinite darkness that stretches between, one might think the stars we can see would easily outnumber our leafy friends here on Earth. But our tree friends have our stars neighbors beat. By a lot!
Just how much? About ten times. At least.
Scientists estimate that there are around 3 trillion trees here on Earth. That’s over 400 trees for every person on the planet. Meanwhile, the number of stars in The Milky Way? A measly 100 to 400 billion. That gives trees a heck of an edge.
But things shift dramatically when you expand the view to the observable universe. Scientists know there are around 100 to 400 billion galaxies out there, each with their own 100 billion stars. That brings the total number of stars in the observable universe to a staggering 1 to 4 SEPTILLION. That’s a LOT. So, unsurprisingly, stars win on a cosmic scale.
Still, here on Earth, trees are the dominant force. They may not light up our sky, but they're Earth's star players - quietly outnumbering our galactic neighbors and fueling the air we breathe one leaf at a time.

Big Lots filed for bankruptcy this month, and now they’re closing stores. A lot of them. Seven of the nine Big Lots in the valley are going by way of the chopping block.
That’s the bad news.
The goods news is these stores are still currently open and having closing sales. So, if you enjoy browsing through Big Lots food aisles to see what imported jams and organic candy they happen to have on their shelves, you might want to hop to it. Just make sure to leave me some of the good stuff.
