Wind, wind, and more wind, am I right? (I was literally able to repeat this from last week’s newsletter, and it’s just as accurate today.) We left the house last night, and it was like walking in a blender. So… fun!

I mean, punctuation-wise, it’s pretty clear right? You get your choice of:

  • margherita or naples white pizza

  • chef's board or farmers market board

  • featured red or white

Right? And three out of three AI chatbots agree!

But, apparently, the restaurant does’t. According to them, it’s either a pizza OR a board. Fascinating, no? And WOW! does this make this a terrible deal. And the way we ordered it, it was pretty clear we thought it all came together, so when that $70 bill reached us, we were like, “Whoa, boy, what the hell is happening?”

Add in the fact that they brought out a $5 bottle of Sutter Home wine, and we ended up paying $40 for a small pizza! At Happy Hour!

So, you know, try North Italia if you want, but steer clear of that intentionally misleading (and very crappily-priced) Bottle & Board. Read more about our experience here.

In other news, we tried Slater’s 50/50 yesterday, and it was considerably less disappointing. But more on that on Friday.
